Hey Fam,

We're Jamar’s proud mothers, and this moment has been a long time coming. On December 13th, our son will walk across the stage at West Texas A&M University to receive his Bachelor of Science in Digital Media Communications. The part most people don’t know is how much grit, sacrifice, and discipline went into getting him to that stage.

Jamar moved clear across the country to Texas to chase this dream. He lived on his own, built a new community from scratch, and pushed himself far outside his comfort zone. He made the Dean’s List, served as Vice President of the school’s Longboarding Club, and was even nominated for WTAMU’s 2025 Student Employee of the Year. And because the universe has a sense of humor, he also worked an unpaid internship to fulfill his graduation requirements — the kind of thing young adults do when they’re committed to achieving something bigger than themselves.

He never complained. He stayed focused. He handled his responsibilities. He kept growing. And he did it all while being miles away from home.

What the family doesn’t know yet (but I’m sharing proudly here) is that Jamar isn’t stopping at his bachelor’s degree. He’s preparing to continue on to graduate school, opening the next chapter of his future with even bigger goals and a whole lot more ambition.

This donation campaign is simply a way to celebrate him and help him step into adulthood with a little less financial weight on his shoulders. Anything given will go directly to him, supporting his next steps — from graduate school expenses to living costs as he transitions into the professional world he’s worked so hard to enter.

Thank you in advance for showing up for him. Thank you for celebrating him. Thank you for lifting him as he launches into the life he’s been building with so much heart, discipline, and determination.
